Clark Advanced Learning Center Celebrates 2022 Graduates

The Clark Advanced Learning Center celebrated the accolades and accomplishments of its graduating class of 2022 during the charter high school's commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. in the Jensen Beach High School Wellness Center.

“Our seniors have certainly, once again, risen to the challenge," shares Debbie Kohuth, Clark Advanced Learning Center Principal. "This year, over 50% of our graduates have earned Associate degrees from Indian River State College—fifty-one of our ninety-four high school graduates have already earned their Associate in Arts Degree. We are so proud of this amazing and resilient group of students, and they serve as an inspiration to all future Clark graduates.”

Students at Clark Advanced Learning Center gain a head start on college, expertise in the latest technology, and real-world experience gained through internships within the local community. In the past school year, graduates have logged over 4,000 hours working with 70 local business partners. Clark seniors also engaged in diverse service-learning and community projects, accumulating over 12,000 hours of service throughout their high school years.

Collectively Clark seniors have been offered a total of more than $1.9 million in scholarships. More than $290,000 was awarded in local community scholarships; over $467,000 in Bright Futures Scholarships; and more than $1.1 million in scholarship opportunities from various institutional, state, and national organizations. Additionally, many seniors received local, state, and national honors and recognition.
