Education Autism Endorsement

This program is only for currently certified exceptional student education teachers.
Get a deeper understanding of autism spectrum disorders and how you can help meet the needs of students with autism.
Fall Semester Courses:
- EEX 4603: Positive Behavior Support
- EEX 4232: Identification and Assessment of Students with Autism
Spring Semester Courses:
- EEX 4094: Educating Students with Autism
- EEX 4760: Assistive Technology for Students with Autism
Note that this program is available once a year online.

Apply for admission
Complete your application and statement of residency online. On your application, select baccalaureate-level, non-degree, employment-related student using the program code H0010 or H0020. You will also need to pay a non-refundable, one-time $30 application fee.


Submit teaching certificate and transcripts
Submit your Florida Professional Educator Certificate (or temporary) and a copy of your previous college transcripts.

Apply for financial assistance
If you are an exceptional student education teacher who is teaching students with autism spectrum disorder in a Florida public school, you may be eligible for financial assistance through the ESE Endorsements Tuition Support Program.
Submit your completed application for tuition support should be submitted by email or by fax to 305-273-6101.
