Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence

Indian River State College is the 2019 winner of the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, an honor that recognizes outstanding quality in the areas of completion & transfer, labor market outcomes, learning, equity and more. Achieving the Dream—Leader College

In 2014, Indian River State College joined Achieving the Dream (ATD), a national, non-profit network of colleges collaboratively working to achieve positive higher education reforms, data-driven institutional improvement and productive equity outcomes.  Within two years of joining, IRSC was invited by ATD to be a Leader College in the network as a result of the institution’s work on completion rates, achievement gap closure, and more.
