We are closely monitoring Hurricane Dorian as it approaches Florida. Due to the uncertainty about where and when it will reach land, the College (all campuses) will be closed as of Friday, August 30 at 5:00 p.m. until further notice.
As of the 2:00 p.m. advisory, the storm has the entire state of Florida in its forecast cone, so it is important that you monitor media coverage closely for updates. The NOAA posts regular advisories, which are also available through the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network app Florida Storms.
Tune into WQCS 88.9 FM and continue to check this page, wqcs.org and IRSC social media (#irscalert) for additional updates before and after the storm.
