Registration Assistance during Winter Break

Happy Holidays! Our campuses may be closed, but you can still register and apply for Spring Term.

Indian River State College wishes our students, their families, alumni and our community members a very happy holiday season! The College will resume operations on Thursday, January 2, 2025. 

Qless is unavailable through January 1, 2025, so we've created this page of with quick links to frequently asked material. If you need further assistance, Riverchat is available from this page (lower right side) 24 hours a day, and the Student Communications Center will have limited hours. Staff will return emails when the College reopens.

Spring term classes begin on Monday, January 6, 2025. Registration and payments for the Spring semester will remain open throughout the winter break through MyPioneerPortal.

Register and pay for Spring term classes online via MyPioneerPortal.

For help with registering for classes, click here. The last day to register and pay is Friday, January 3. Be sure to pay all fees ONLINE within 24 hours of registering. If not paid by the deadline, classes will be dropped for non-payment.

For MyPioneerPortal password assistance, watch this short video and follow the prompts in the section titled "Reset Password in MyPioneerPortal."

If you are unable to reset your password after watching the video, send an email to info@irsc.edu from your personal email address (Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.) with your student information (First, Middle, and Last name, Date of Birth, IRSC RiverMail email address, & Student ID Number). You MUST use the one  that you currently have on record with IRSC so that your identity may be confirmed. You will then receive a one-time-use password to log in and create your own secret password.

Must-Know Details for All Students

January 3, 2025: Last day for students to register and pay for Spring 2025 classes.  If not paid by the deadline, classes will be dropped for non-payment.

January 6, 2025: First day of Spring 2025 classes. Students must attend all their classes in order to avoid being withdrawn for non-attendance.

January 7, 2025
Re-registration if dropped for non-payment. Students who wish to re-register must see an academic advisor, and payment must be made immediately following registration.

January 10, 2025: Last day for students to drop their unwanted Spring 2025 classes. If not dropped by the deadline students will be financially responsible to pay for their classes.

  • Thursday, December 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Friday, December 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Monday, December 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Friday, December 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Monday, December 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The IRSC Student Communication Center resumes its usual schedule on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
