Automotive Service Excellence Exam

Indian River State College offers Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exams at our Chastain Campus Assessment Center located in Stuart, Florida. Candidates interested in completing their ASE exams or renewals must first register for the exam(s) they need to take at www.ase.com or by calling Prometric at 1-877-346-9327. Once a candidate has finished the registration process with ASE they can schedule an appointment to complete their test at Indian River State College.

All test fees are paid to ASE prior to scheduling to test at Indian River State College.

How to Register

Registering and payment for ASE exams must be completed with ASE prior to scheduling to test at Indian River State College. Once you have registered and paid for your exam with ASE, then you can schedule your exam appointment with Indian River State College.

How to Schedule

Testing times and appointment availability are subject to change. ASE test candidates must provide their name, ASE ID number, email, phone number and name of the test(s) or retest(s) being scheduled in order to register for an appointment.

Testing Day

Plan to arrive at Indian River State College 15 minutes prior to your testing appointment. Late arrivals may forfeit their appointment and testing fees.

Per ASE rules, late cancellations or testing day no-shows may forfeit their ASE test registrations and fees.

The candidate must present a valid, unexpired government-issued ID in good condition and in its original form that includes a photo and signature. An expired ID or a photo or paper photocopy of an ID is not acceptable.

No cellphones, personal items or backpacks are permitted in the testing room.

Calculators are not permitted for ASE exams.
