Request for Information for Executive Consulting Services

1.0  Informal Request for Information Only

This request for information is an informal solicitation and will be used by the District Board to identify executive search consultants.  The District Board reserves the right to refrain from contacting or pursuing the services of any or all respondents. This is not a bid or a Request for Proposals under Florida law.

2.0  Specifications

Indian River State College is seeking the services of an executive search consultant to perform the following types of services:

• Provide assistance with the presidential selection process
• Assist in developing the presidential profile
• Recruit and screen candidates for the position of President of Indian River State College
• Conduct reference checks
• Work closely with candidates and be available as resource for District Board, College, and candidates
• Provide drafts of correspondence to be used by the Chair of Search Committee, Chair of District Board of Trustees, and the College
• Meet onsite with District Board of Trustees and/or Search Committee at various times throughout the search, screening, and interview process
• Other services as agreed

3.0  Requirements

The Consultant shall have no obligations or interests that conflict with the best interests of Indian River State College.

4.0  Submission

If you are interested in being considered for this service, please submit the following:

• Letter of interest
• Approximate fees and costs (to be negotiated)
• Information regarding the following:

1. A description of Consultant’s organizational structure and size
2. A list of names of staff members (and their office locations) who are anticipated to provide services
3. A brief explanation of Consultant’s approach to performing the executive search services and an overview of the process
4. A description of Consultant’s qualifications to perform this work
5. A description of experience in similar searches with an emphasis on community colleges, Florida colleges, and searches completed in the last five (5) years
6. Any additional information Consultant feels would be helpful for Board and College
