Indian River State College Night Draws 1,000 to Clover Park

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - A crowd of 1,000 Indian River State College employees, alumni, and students filled the stands at Clover Park on Thursday, June 20, for "Indian River State College Night" to watch the St. Lucie Mets face off against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.

The special event celebrated the strong connection between Indian River State College and the local community. Attendees enjoyed a night of exciting baseball action between the St. Lucie Mets and the Mighty Mussels, along with the camaraderie of fellow College supporters. Military Appreciation Night was also observed by the enthusiastic turnout.

"We were thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout from our Indian River State College community,” said Dr. Timothy Moore, Indian River State College president. "This event demonstrates the strong bonds within our college community and our shared enthusiasm for local sports."

The event was hosted by the Indian River State College Foundation.

"The Indian River State College Foundation was honored to host Indian River State College Night at Clover Park,” said Annabel Robertson, the foundation’s vice president of institutional advancement. “The event brought together many familiar faces from campus and the community. It is partnerships like these that truly highlight the strong spirit amongst the entire Indian River State College community.”
