AT THE RIVER, YOU…
- You may be eligible to take the AHIMA Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) exam.
- Will learn about electronic health record systems, data management, data analysis, and the legal and ethical requirements of working with health data.
- Can join the Health Occupations Students of America, where you can develop the personal and professional skills needed in healthcare.

The application for the Fall 2026 program will be available from January 12, 2026 through August 3, 2026.
You will need to complete an advising session before you can be admitted to this program.
Learn the skills you need to become a health informatics specialist and work in the in-demand health information management industry. Graduates are prepared to work on-site in hospitals, surgery centers, clinics or remotely from home.
