Certified Production Technician 4.0
This 12-week course is designed for individuals entering a career in manufacturing or production, front-line supervisors and managers with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in manufacturing and production environments. This comprehensive program covers a range of essential topics to equip participants with the skills required in modern manufacturing industries. The course leads to the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technion certification (MSSC CPT 4.0).
The following Industry 4.0 technologies are included in the content: 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Additive (3D) Manufacturing, Autonomous Robots, Augmented Reality, Data Analytics, Nanomanufacturing, and Advanced Materials.
Course dates are May 6 to July 25, 2024.
Once You Complete the Course
Course completers have an understanding of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment, quality assurance measures, inspection techniques, and strategies to maintain high product standards. They will have insight into various manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, welding, and material handling, and knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure efficient production operations. They will possess effective communication skills and understanding the importance of teamwork in a manufacturing environment, and critical thinking skills to address challenges in the production process. Completers will gain enhanced mathematical skills and understanding measurement tools used in manufacturing, and soft skills and workplace etiquette to enhance overall effectiveness professionally. They can pursue the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technion certification (MSSC CPT 4.0).
