Commuting to Campus
Most of our students commute to one of our five, conveniently located campuses. You’ll find that parking is abundant and several campuses are served by public transportation, including bus service from Indian River County GoLine and St. Lucie County Area Regional Transit.
River Hammock Student Housing
River Hammock is an apartment-style student residence complex open only to Indian River State College students. Located on our Massey campus in Fort Pierce, it offers convenience and comfort at a price you can easily afford
We designed these beautiful apartments with you in mind. Each features a central living area, dining room and kitchen. Four individual bedrooms with two full baths provide privacy and an outstanding environment for studying. Each apartment includes a complete kitchen appliance package, central heat and air conditioning, telephone and cable TV outlets, and deadbolt locks. Your monthly rent includes utilities and Wi-Fi.
The Alto “Bud” Adams Jr. River Hammock is owned and operated by the Indian River State College Foundation, Inc. Get more information and lease forms at the Housing Office in the small annex building south of the gymnasium (Building P) on the Massey campus.
DINING ON CAMPUS
No one should learn on an empty stomach. You’ll find on-campus dining options at our Massey, Dixon Hendry, and Pruitt campuses. They don’t just offer great food—they’re great places to study and socialize.

The River Café
The River Café, located in the Koblegard Student Union on the Massey campus, offers breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks every weekday. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available.
The Landing Café
Take a break from classes or research at The Landing Café on the Massey campus. You’ll find Starbucks hot and cold coffees, espresso lattes, frozen drinks, and seasonal favorites.


The Perch Café at Okeechobee
Located on the Dixon Hendry campus. The Perch Café at Okeechobee serves Starbucks handcrafted hot and cold drinks.
The Perch Café at Pruitt
Located in Building J, The Perch is your one-stop shop for fresh, made-to-order food throughout the week. Specialty sandwiches, house-made flatbreads, fresh salads, smoothies, and more.
