Student Ambassador Program

Are you looking for a way to get involved on campus and build your resume? Do you love being social? IRSC has an opportunity for you! IRSC is looking for 3-5 eager, well-rounded students to represent the College on Institutional Social Media platforms. We want YOU to be the face of IRSC and encourage your peers to experience all the College has to offer!

As a student ambassador, you will be an "influencer" for IRSC. Get ready to be social and show everyone why you are #IRSCProud to be an IRSC student! As an added bonus, you get to help pick the name of the IRSC Student Ambassador Group!

  • Minimum age 18
  • No criminal record
  • Have already completed at least one (1) semester at IRSC
  • Must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Need to be available for at least one (1) semester.
  • Be a current student in any of the programs at IRSC.
  • Agree to the College using/reposting your pictures to social media channels.
  • Be in good financial standing with the College.
  • Be active on personal social media accounts.
  • Be able to interact in a professional environment and post appropriately on social media.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Extracurricular involvement.

  • Interview after your application is chosen during the first and second weeks of August.
  • Complete a minimum of 15 hours of service per semester in addition to required bi-weekly meetings.
  • Exercise good judgement in representing IRSC.
  • Great writing and communication skills.
  • Attend student activities, athletics, performing arts and other collegiate events each semester.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Posting on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok or other designated social media platforms 3x/week in addition to stories on applicable platforms.
  • Attend student ambassador orientation to go over responsibilities and best practices.
  • Make best use of Adobe Creative Campus products.
  • Attend student ambassador orientation to go over responsibilities and best practices.
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings for assignments and best practices.

  • July 1: Application opens.
  • July 31: Application closes.
  • August 4: Candidates selected and interviewed.
  • August 11: Student Ambassadors announced.
  • August 18: Trainings for ambassadors scheduled.
  • August 23: Ambassadors begin work for Week of Welcome.
