Rebecca Graystone, M.S., M.B.A., R.N., N.E.-B.C., has more than 26 years of acute care nursing practice and leadership experience. She joined the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2012. As Vice President, Magnet Recognition Program® & Pathway to Excellence®, she is responsible for the vision, governance and operations of all current and future credentialing programs recognizing nursing excellence at the organization, department or unit level.
Graystone is a baccalaureate-prepared nurse and received a M.S. in Health Care Administration and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, University College. She has a certificate in Health Care Management from Georgetown University and is board certified as a Nurse Executive. She is currently a Ph.D. student with a concentration in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration.
Attendees will:
- learn at least two unique characteristics of the Magnet Recognition Program®
- identify two direct connections between their practice and Magnet collected patient outcomes
- articulate why evidence-based frameworks are integral to practice
The cost is $10 per person, or FREE for IRSC Nursing students and IRSC Nursing Honor Society members.
