On Saturday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the IRSC Vocal program is pleased to offer another in our series of Choral Classics concerts at the McAlpin Fine Arts Center this time spotlighting great texts in music.  The IRSC Chorale presents the memorable verses of Homer (from The Odyssey), Robert Burns (in wonderful poetry saluting love and loss) and Shakespeare (in contemporary musical arrangements by composer Matthew Harris).  These writings stand as remarkable tributes to the English language and will certainly assist you in transcending the commonplace.  Hear from our newest ensemble—The Company Trio, a delightful group of three female vocalists, who offer selections from American popular music heritage in this memorable experience.
