A Concert Under the Stars

On Saturday, March 2 at 7 pm, Indian River State College’s Hallstrom Planetarium will present a “chamber concert under the stars” that will feature the Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble https://cantalibre.org/index.html, who will perform live on violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet and harp. 

The string septet’s heavenly sounds will be accompanied by a full range of planetarium sky and lumia effects displayed on the dome, including stars and constellations, clouds, interstellar nebulae, the moon and planets, and great spinning galaxies.

Planetarium shows are suitable for adults, families and children over the age of 10. The air temperature is maintained at 72 degrees. You may wish to bring a sweater or light jacket.
