Living History Series: 'The Rise of Putin'

Indian River State College's Living History Series, directed by Professor David Yankwitt, announces its Spring 2025 program featuring four distinguished speakers exploring topics from local history to global politics.

"The Rise of Putin" 

Dr. Alex Shelby, Indian River State College Professor of History, will explore how Vladimir Putin consolidated power, redefined the Russian state, and challenged the American world international order in the post-Cold War world.
