IRSC Faculty and Staff Present at AFC Teaching and Learning Conference

Indian River State College (IRSC) faculty, staff, and administration recently traveled to present at the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Conference on College Teaching and Learning in St. Petersburg held April 3-5. The conference, now in its second year, was attended by over 140 College professionals from across the state.
Casey Lunceford, Indian River County Provost, was part of the AFC Administration Commission Panel Discussion on Leadership and Lynn O’Dell, QEP Manager/QEP MARS Lab Manager, served as the panel moderator. O’Dell additionally presented on “Educational Leadership in the 21st Century,” and Dr. Bobbi Cook and O’Dell presented on the QEP program with a presentation entitled “Using Action Research for Student Math Success Within SB 1720.”
The AFC’s Conference on College Teaching and Learning serves as a robust interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of college teaching and learning that ensure student success.
