IRSC Golf Tournament Swings into Action for Student Scholarships

The Indian River State College (IRSC) 21st annual Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament was hosted Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Vero Beach Country Club. Organized by the IRSC Foundation, this year’s tournament brought together 30 teams with 120 players, along with 80 community business sponsors. More than $30,000 was raised for student scholarships.
“The incredible support we’ve received from the community over the past 21 years has allowed us to award 835 deserving students with scholarships to pursue their dreams,” shared Ann L. Decker, Executive Director of the IRSC Foundation. “We are grateful to the golfers and sponsors, who support this event each year and help to advance the Foundation’s mission.”
The Venue Sponsor was Vero Beach Country Club, and major sponsors included Proctor Construction Company, Remnant Construction, Florida Architects, SunTrust now Truist, Lowe’s International Realty Plus - Bobby and Sharon Lowe, Summit Construction of Vero Beach, George E. Warren Corp., and Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey, & Fronrath.
