The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) recognized two distinguished Indian River State College (IRSC) employees—one faculty, one administrator—during NISOD’s 2021 International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence. The conference recognized all attending 2020 and 2021 Award recipients through a series of virtual Excellence Award celebrations held in conjunction with the conference.
Dr. Daphne Cooper, Associate Professor, Social Sciences, was recognized as a recipient of a 2020 Excellence Award and Dr. Prashanth Pilly, Dean of Business, was named a 2021 Excellence Award recipient. The Excellence Awards Program provides member colleges with the opportunity to honor incredible faculty, administrators, and staff for the important work they do on their campuses every day
NISOD is a membership organization committed to promoting and celebrating excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership at community and technical colleges.
Since 1991, NISOD has been honored to recognize community and technical college faculty, administrators, and staff for their achievements and contributions to their institutions. The work of these men and women includes not only what they do for their campuses, but what they do for students and the communities in which they live and work.
