Indian River State College Students Connect with Employers at 2023 Career Expo

FORT PIERCE—More than 230 Indian River State College students, alumni and community members had the opportunity to interface with 55 local employers at the College’s 2023 Career Expo on Wednesday, October 18, at the Kight Center on the Massey Campus in Fort Pierce.
Attendees were able to share their resumes with prospective employers. Several in attendance were interviewed on the spot for internships and jobs. The Expo also provided students with the opportunity to learn how to dress in business attire and learn and practice their networking skills.
“The Fall 2023 Fall EXPO was a fantastic way to showcase IRSC students and alumni to employment partners,” said Calvin Williams, Associate Vice President of Advising and Career Services at IRSC. “Career Services does an outstanding job preparing IRSC talent for the work environment. I additionally want to thank John Crowe and the IRSC Facilities team for event setup. Employers raved about the event and love recruiting at IRSC.”
