Clark Advanced Learning Center, an “A-rated” public, charter high school serving about 250 Martin County students, will hold Information Sessions on Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. Located at the Indian River State College (IRSC) Chastain Campus in Stuart, the Clark is the top ranked high school on the Treasure Coast and is in the top ten of high schools in Florida based on Florida’s high school grading system. The high-performing high school provides a small school learning environment for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with diverse interests, aptitudes and goals.
In addition to academic achievement, Clark students are active in a wide variety of community service projects and participate in business internships. Providing first-hand experiences, the internships connect learning to students’ goals for the future.
Clark students have the opportunity to earn college credits for free through Dual Enrollment at IRSC. Through Dual Enrollment, Clark students typically complete a year of college by the time they graduate from the school with their high school diploma. This represents a savings of at least $3,000 at a public university and $20,000 at a private university. Highly motivated students may complete their Associate’s Degree while still in high school, ready to enter college as a junior.
The Clark Advanced Center is located at 2400 S.E. Salerno Road in Stuart. For more information, call 772-419-5750 or visit www.clarkadvancedlearningcenter.org.
