The Fielden Institute for Lifelong Leaning at Indian River State College (IRSC) hosted its annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, February 27, at the IRSC Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

The dinner, sponsored by Synovus/Florida Community Bank, thanked more than 80 volunteers who facilitate lifelong programs across Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties. These volunteers lead discussion and study groups, hands-on activities, field trips, lectures, and book and film groups, for their peers age 50 and better.
