The Florida SBDC at Indian River State College (IRSC) presents the 7th Annual Entrepreneurship and Sm all Business Conference featuring business expert, author, and futurist Jim Blasingame. 

The 3rd IngredientThe day-long conference takes place Tuesday, May 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Kight Center for Emerging Technologies on the IRSC Main Campus located at 3209 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce.

Featuring more than 12 workshops on topics such as Understanding Business Finances, Cyber Security, The Art of Government Contracting, Turbo Charge Your Team, Social Media Marketing, Website Design, Inclusion and Diversity and Leadership Training, and more offering key, timely insights to local business professionals and entrepreneurs.

Jim BlasingameThe opening session begins at 8 a.m. with Dr. Jerry Parrish, chief economist and director of research for the Florida Chamber Foundation, who will discuss Florida’s economic trends and what they mean for the State of Florida and the Treasure Coast.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on small business and entrepreneurship, Jim Blasingame will be the event’s luncheon keynote speaker. Blasingame is the creator and award-winning host of the syndicated radio program, The Small Business Advocate Show. He is a syndicated columnist and is the author of three best-selling books including his latest book The 3rd Ingredient: The Journey of Analog Ethics into the World of Digital Fear and Greed, which conference attendees will receive a copy of and have the opportunity to have Blasingame autograph.

Conference registration is $50 and includes breakfast, lunch, and an autographed copy of Blasingame’s book The 3rd Ingredient.
