The following IRSC HOSA Ambassadors competed with other post-secondary institutions around the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County, to earn four gold medals and one silver medal placement in these competitive events:

Tina Rosenbloom of Port St. Lucie: silver medal placement in the competitive event Cultural Diversities & Disparities in Healthcare

Victoria Eniola of Port St. Lucie: gold medal placement in the competitive event “Medical Law and Ethics.”

Ashlande Morency of Vero Beach: gold medal placement in the competitive event “Epidemiology.”

Dania Morse of Port St. Lucie: gold medal placement in the competitive event “Health Informatics.”

Hayden Mickley of Jupiter: gold medal placement in the completive event “Human Growth and Development.”

Aeyanna Lucero of Okeechobee: gold medal placement in the competitive event “Clinical Nursing.”

The students have been active members of HOSA and have been diligent, driven, and continue to support the mission of HOSA—overcoming ongoing challenges from the pandemic. Since the start of the academic year (Fall 2021), HOSA students have excelled in their Health Science programs, volunteering more than 1295 hours of community service, professional development, and leadership opportunities as of this date.

Gold, silver, and bronze medalist winners now have the opportunity to compete at the HOSA State Leadership Conference on April 9-12, 2022, in Orlando. IRSC congratulates our HOSA student leaders.
