As an Adobe Creative Campus, Indian River State College (IRSC) is moving towards shaping the future of digital literacy within global higher education. Adobe Creative Cloud tools and services are now freely available to IRSC students, helping them succeed in the classroom and gain an edge in the competitive modern workplace.

Joy Jarriel wins at Adobe Creative Jam

Joy Jarriel, an IRSC student from Okeechobee, Campus Coalition Government (CCG) Vice President and PR & Marketing Committee Chair, recently earned accolades for her creative work. Jarriel’s was recognized as a participant in a virtual Adobe Creative Jam, an event where participants are inspired by a presenting speaker, get trained on a software product from an expert, and complete the challenge at hand. Teams create solutions and then present their work to a jury of industry experts and peers for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights!

On October 1, Jarriel excelled with her presentation titled “Smile...It Could Save Your Life” and placed as one of the top 3 finalists. She was recognized as 3rd place during the virtual (Facebook Live) Awards Ceremony and received a $300 USD gift card and other fun Creative Jam-branded swag. You can view her project here.

We are #IRSCProud of you, Joy!
