IRSC Hosts National Guard During Dorian
September 3, 2019 Robert Lane
Troops from the 53rd Infantry Brigade of the Florida Army National Guard are stationed at the Indian River State College (IRSC) Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex as part of the Guard’s preparation for relief efforts related to Hurricane Dorian.
The IRSC Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex is one of the most comprehensive, technologically advanced public safety training facilities in the nation. The 50-acre, eight-building Complex. IRSC has hosted federal agencies for training to prepare for large-scale events and also opens its doors to serve as a staging area for regional response efforts during hurricanes.
IRSC is proud to host the men and women serving in the 53rd Infantry Brigade at the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex. Our appreciation goes out to all of the National Guard members, first responders, and public officials who are working to ensure our community is safe during this time.
