March 24 Presidential Search Committee Meeting

Indian River State College has postponed the Presidential Search Committee meeting set for Tuesday, March 24. Earlier today, the College announced that in observance of the latest CDC guidelines, no events of any kind are to take place with 10 or more individuals until at least April 15, 2020.

“The spread of Coronavirus has elevated safety precautions to unprecedented levels.” says Presidential Search Committee Chair and IRSC Trustee, Vicki Davis. “When the College returns from spring break we will be in a better position to determine how the Search Committee will move forward to do its critical work, and we will reschedule this meeting.”

Consultants from AGB Search, the firm assisting in recruiting and selecting the College’s next president, will be available (remotely) during the next IRSC Board of Trustees meeting, taking place on Tuesday, March 24 at 3:30 p.m. At the meeting, trustees will discuss how to conduct future presidential search committee meetings within CDC guidelines.
