February 25, 2020 Robert Lane
The Indian River State College (IRSC) Public Service Education Division hosted its seventh annual Career Expo at the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex (TCPSTC) in the Bailey Auditorium on Friday, February 7. More than 150 IRSC students and alumni were in attendance to network with more than 35 law enforcement, corrections and fire agencies from across the state.
Each year, agencies attend the event recognizing the high standards required of the IRSC program applicants, as well as the rigorous instruction that students receive. In addition to the Expo, agencies from across the four county region brought a number of specialized vehicles for a hands-on display in the adjacent parking lot.
The TCPSTC at IRSC is a multi-disciplinary campus that offers 18 programs that include Bachelors and Associate degrees, as well as technical certificate programs and non-credit professional development opportunities for Law Enforcement, Corrections, Fire Science, Emergency Management, Human Services, Public Administration and Paralegal Studies. learn more at www.tcpublicsafetytraining.com.
