Viviane Mignone is the October Team Member of the Month

Stuart resident Viviane Mignone is the Indian River State College October 2022 Team Member of the Month. Viviane joined the IRSC team part-time as an Instructional Aide in 2003 prior to serving as a part-time Clerk from 2004 to 2010—when she was joined the IRSC teama full-time as a Clerical Assistant. Viviane was promoted to Registration Assistant I in 2014 and today continues to serve in that role as part of the IRSC Chastain Campus team in Stuart.

For many, coming through the front doors of a college campus is a big step. As they arrive on the Chastain Campus, they are welcomed by Viviane at the front desk smiling and waiting to greet and assist new and potential students—easing any fears they may have had about their campus visit. Viviane is an outstanding example of how great team leaders motivates and inspire those around them, exemplifying the essence of customer service in everything she does. Viviane does a superb job training new front desk staff, leads by example and shares an outgoing and bubbly personality many visitors and students on the Chastain remember and love. Viviane is highly dependable, knowledgeable, and always willing to jump in to help with any tasks during the busy peak registration times. Additionally, Vivian has many fans in the broader Martin County community who stop by to visit and comment on how helpful and friendly she assists students and community members.

Viviane’s co-workers on the Chastain Campus are happy to recount her positive impact on IRSC students, “Viviane works to give each student that comes to the Chastain Campus the complete attention they deserve.” They continue stating, “Viviane is on the front line each day. I have never seen anyone so dedicated and willing to go the extra mile. Her positive demeanor and ‘whatever it takes’ attitude often make all the difference for the students she works with daily.”
