Passport Renewal Instructions
If you are eligible to renew by mail then no appointment is necessary. If you are not eligible to renew, you must apply in person. For Form DS-82 passport renewal and additional renewal information, visit passport online renewal.
If you answered “NO” to any statement, you must apply in person.

Indian River State College Passport Services is a Passport Acceptance Facility for the U.S. Department of State. Although the facility is located on the campus of the Indian River State College, any U.S. citizen may obtain or renew their passport from this location, regardless of Indian River State College affiliation. Free, convenient parking is available.
Passport Photos
Passport photos are not available on site at this time. Please follow the instructions below provided by Travel.State.Gov.
Photo Tips
- Submit one color photo
- Submit a recent photo taken in last 6 months
- Use a clear image of your face
- Do not shcnage your photo using computer software, phone apps, filters, or artificial intelligence
- Have someone else take your photo. No selfies.
- Take off your eyeglasses for your photo
- Use a white or off-white background without shadows, texture, or lines
