IRSC Events Celebrate the Diversity of Hispanic Culture

Indian River State College (IRSC) celebrates the diversity of Hispanic culture each year during Hispanic Heritage Month. This year’s theme and focus was “Esperanza: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Hope.”

Activities for the month included short stories, virtual events, games, and food—highlighting the rich and diverse Hispanic heritage found across our college community. The highlight event for the month was the “Festival de Cultura,” held on the Massey Campus green, featuring costumes, parade, food, music, dance by the Ballet Folklorico Guadalajara, and more.
