Summer 2022 Registration is Now Underway at IRSC

FORT PIERCE—Registration for Summer 2022 classes at Indian River State College (IRSC) is now underway at all IRSC campuses. Six-week Summer “A” and 14-week Full-Term Summer classes start on Wednesday, May 4. The six-week Summer “B” Session begins on June 20 and ends on August 1. Students can attend classes in person, hybrid, or online. Courses may be viewed by searching the IRSC course schedule online, and students can register and pay for their classes via MyPioneerPortal.

Enrolling in one or more of our summer sessions is an excellent opportunity for students to get a head start on fall enrollment and accelerate degree completion,” shares Beth Gaskin, Vice President for Student Success. “While the course term is more compressed than a traditional 16-week term and has more intense course content, student success rates are generally higher in summer.”

IRSC provides wrap-around services for students, including academic support, career services, mentoring programs; Veterans services, free Microsoft and Adobe Creative Suite software, health and wellness resources, and more. Even childcare assistance is available to those who are eligible. New students—as well university students looking to take courses with IRSC over the summer—should apply to IRSC at www.irsc.edu. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and 91% of IRSC students graduate without debt.

Important dates to remember for the summer term:

April 25: Registration and Payment Deadline—Full-Term Session and Session A
May 4: Classes start—Full-Term Session and Session A.
June 19: Registration Deadline—Session B.
June 20: Classes start—Session B.
