If you’re from a low-income background, are the first in the family to attend college or have a disability, TRIO is here for you.
TRIO programs are designed to help you build confidence in your future. Through TRIO, you’ll receive academic and personal support so you’re ready for life in college and beyond.
Free for eligible students
TRIO programs are provided at no cost to students who are eligible to participate. If you are accepted into a TRIO program, you will not have to pay.

The Educational Talent Search (ETS) program provides academic, career, and financial counseling, helping you excel in school, graduate and pursue a college degree.

Upward Bound
Upward Bound provides comprehensive academic support, college preparation, and personal development opportunities. Upward Bound’s program is year-round and includes a six-week intensive summer program.
Open to: High school students

Upward Bound Math and Science
The Upward Bound Math and Science program is designed to inspire and support students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.
Open to: High school students from Fort Pierce Westwood Academy, Fort Pierce Central and Port St. Lucie High School.
