Future Chefs Turn Up the Flavor at Sunshine Kitchen Showdown
Nov. 13, 2025 | Two talented culinary students proved their skills in the kitchen were scholarship-worthy at the 5th Annual Sunshine Kitchen Cookoff. Nimsi R. Moreno from Fort Pierce Westwood Academy and Christina Theriault from Indian River State College’s Culinary Institute each took home $1,500 for their winning dishes in the competitive cooking event.
