Mental Health Counseling
Indian River State College has partnered up with Uwill to provide IRSC students with free mental health and wellness services. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or just need someone to talk to, Uwill Mental Health and Wellness Services is ready to support you.
Available Services:
- Individual Counseling: One-on-one sessions to tackle personal concerns and mental health issues.
- Wellness Resources: Regular events on topics like stress management, mindfulness, and self-care.
- 24/7 Crisis Support: Immediate help in a crisis.
To schedule teletherapy: Create a profile with Uwill. - Choose a therapist based on your preferences, including availability, issue, gender, language, and ethnicity. - Select a time that fits your schedule with options for day, night, and weekend sessions.
Student Health Insurance
Information on independent insurance providers that provide health, dental, vision and prescription coverage to students is available in the Health and Wellness Center and at all satellite campuses. Test Anxiety Screening
Many students have the ability to do well on exams, but sometimes they experience a high level of anxiety. Schedule an appointment with the Health and Wellness Center to learn how to avoid letting emotions interfere with logic, and find ways to have and maintain a positive perspective.
