FORT PIERCE, FL—Students graduating in 2024 from Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie County public and public charter high schools and eligible in-district homeschool graduates who wish to earn tuition-free Associate degrees from Indian River State College can take the Promise Pledge beginning January 24, 2024.

The Promise Pledge will be available online at promise.irsc.edu through May 24, 2024.

The last-dollar, tuition-paid program is sponsored by the IRSC Foundation and funded through generous donor philanthropy and unrestricted investment proceeds. This is the third year that Indian River State College is offering the program.

“Thousands of students are currently pursuing their academic goals and launching their intellectual awakening at Indian River State College through the Promise Program,” said President Dr. Timothy Moore. “We encourage this year’s high school graduates—no matter their background, household income, or grade point average—to take the Pledge and secure their opportunity to earn an A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. from IRSC tuition-free.”

IRSC Promise students do not need to demonstrate financial need, and there is no G.P.A. requirement for acceptance to the program. Once in the program, students must maintain full-time enrollment status during fall, spring and summer terms and maintain satisfactory academic progress as they pursue an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Applied Science Degree.
