“Every student who walks through our doors at Indian River State College brings unique talents and aspirations,” says Dr. Timothy E. Moore, President of Indian River State College. “Our role is to provide them with the tools, support, and real-world experience they need to succeed. Our new nursing facility, with its advanced simulation center and expert faculty, creates an environment where students can build their skills and confidence. When I see our graduates excelling in their careers, it reinforces that our investment in their success is transforming lives and strengthening our community.”

Indian River State College’s nursing program stands as a leading force in remarkable achievements and student outcomes, while addressing Florida’s nursing shortage. The program operates from a cutting-edge 50,000-square-foot facility at the Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie, featuring state-of-the-artsimulation environments that replicate real hospital settings, including emergency, intensive care, and specialized units. The program’s excellence is demonstrated by its exceptional NCLEX pass rates â€“ 96.8% for RN candidates and 100% for PN candidates, significantly exceeding national averages.

“We understand the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and aspiring nurses,” says Dr. Patricia Gagliano. “These programs reflect our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality nursing education that accommodates various lifestyles and career paths.”
